HTHMAD is a project that aims to serve Thamudic inscriptions and other ancient Arabic inscriptions by bringing technologies such as OCR to improve the use of technology in this feild
هثمد هو مشروع يهدف لتطوير استخدام التقنية مع النقوش الثمودية وغيرها من النقوش العربية القديمة في المملكة العربية السعودية
المشروع يركز على استخدام التقنيات الحديثة كتقنية OCR ,وغيرها من تقنيات تعلم الالة لتطوير جودة ترجمة النقوش وتبسيط عملية الترجمة
المشروع أيضا يهدف للمساهمة في إبراز أهمية هذة النقوش وحفظها من التخريب عن طريق حفظ النقوش بقواعد بيانات وتوعية المجتمع بأهميتها

The Desktop Application uses Image Processing to implement OCR technology in order to extract inscriptions out of images
How does it work?
كيف
يعمل التطبيق؟

في البداية سيقوم المستخدم بإدخال عنوان الصورة (URL)
اذا كان العنوان خاطئ ستظهر رسالة تخبر المستخدم بذلك اما اذا كان العنوان صحيح سيقوم التطبيق بمعالجة الصورة في مراحل متعددة ثم يحفظها على جهاز المستخدم
The user will insert the image URL if The URL is not valid the application will show an error message, if it's Valid the application will perform several steps to process the image then extract the text and save it to the user device

التطبيق؟
The Applications offer several services related to the Thamudic Culture, Which are: Viewing the OCR results, the user can view the processed image along with translation and attracting the inscription location. Also, the application offers Thamudic Keyboard so the user can manipulate the characters by converting them from Thamudic to Arabic and from Arabic to Thamudic
finally, there is a list of subjects about the Thamudic culture
يوفر التطبيق خدمات متعلقة بالنقوش الثمودية منها عرض OCRنتائج تقنية
مع ربطها بترجمتها وموقع النقش على خرائط قوقل أيضا يوفر التطبيق لوحة مفاتيح للأحرف الثمودية من خلال تحويلها للغة العربية أو من اللغة العربية الى الثمودية بالإضافة الى ذلك يقدم التطبيق مجموعة من المواضيع المتعلقة بالحضارة الثمودية

نطمح في
هثمد؟
نطمح لتطوير المشروع بشكل اكبر بحيث يشمل كل اللغات العربية القديمة و أيضا نطمح لتطوير التقنيات المستخدمة بحيث يتم ترجمة النقش بشكل مباشر ودمج تطبيق سطح المكتب بتطبيق الجوال ليسهل استخدامة كذلك نطمح لإنشاء قاعدة بيانات تحوي معظم النقوش في المملكة العربية السعودية لحمايتها من العبث لرفع جودة التعرف على النقوش أيضا لحفظ النقوش من العبث والتخريب
We aim to develop the project further to include all ancient Arabic languages, and we seek to improve the technologies used so that the inscription is translated directly and the desktop application is combined with the mobile application to facilitate its use. we also aim to create a database that includes most of the ancient inscriptions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to increase the accuracy of recognition and to save the inscriptions from destruction
